As part of a prominent mob family, Anthony was expected to participate in the family business from a young age. Whether that was attending Mass or helping out at the various cover businesses they owned, Anthony didn't have much choice except to do as he was told, regardless of his own feelings on the matter.While Anthony and his older brother weren't that close, he and his twin sister were practically inseparable. He did what he could to keep her from having to participate in the darker sides of the business, which their father agreed to, so long as Anthony did what he was supposed to do.Which absolutely did not include giving in to his 'unnatural' and 'sinful' desires, not that his father knew about that. Anthony discovered pretty early on that he was attracted to other men, that he didn't have any feelings for women, but he did his absolute best to keep that to himself as much as possible, something that got harder as time went on.Especially when he went to Confession and the priest took advantage of his "mixed-up feelings," had him say Hail Marys as he wiped his mouth and asked for forgiveness.It also didn't help that, as much as he tried to keep to himself, other people tended to make assumptions about him (rightfully) being a 'friend of Dorothy,' rumors he knew he had to take steps to curb.The best way to keep those sorts of rumors from spreading was to combat them directly. Which was why Anthony started seeing a young woman, Giuliana, from another family, a match that would be very advantageous to his own, would help strengthen their hold over their own territory.It wasn't long after he started seeing Giuliana (who he called "Jules") that he started getting into drugs. Between the stress of making sure the relationship was "perfect," looking out for Molly, and trying to live up to the expectations placed on him, he needed some sort of escape. And the drugs allowed him at least a little respite......for a time.For a little while, he could continue on as though everything was fine, like he wasn't completely spiraling. But the addiction started affecting his relationships, his ability to do his job. And it took both Jules and Molly expressing their concern for him to try to get clean.It was hard, but he managed, even took it as an opportunity to take a step back from the family business, to do some performing while he recovered instead. His father didn't like it, but his mother insisted, said that he needed a break from the stress, to let him do what he wanted to do for a little while, before he came back to the family.He really started to thrive during this time. Anthony was able to do something he loved, and even if he wasn't really happy, he was doing a lot better. It was during this time he also discovered his love for performing in vaudeville shows in drag, and that he was damn good at it.Some of the other performers started calling him Angel, partly because of his boyish good looks, and partly because of the way he could sing. He quickly adopted it as a stage name, and started experimenting with using exclusively female pronouns when he was in costume, something he hadn't realized would be so freeing.But unfortunately, just when he thought he might be able to settle into a life of performing, that maybe things might turn out okay after all, he was dragged back into the family business, expected to pull his weight or face the consequences.So he went back to doing what was expected of him, but he never forgot that taste of the life he could have had, the life he so desperately wanted.And Jules had been there every step of the way, being as supportive as she could. She really was a great friend to Anthony, a very sweet girl, someone he cared about a great deal...., just not the way he was 'supposed' to care about someone he'd been in a relationship with for years, at this point.It was once he was back under his father's thumb that the wedding planning started. There hadn't really been a proposal as such, but he and Jules had talked about getting married, and her family had taken that as permission to start the process of getting them hitched.Every time wedding planning came up, every time Jules talked about the future, about the possibility of them finding a house of their own, having a few kids, teaching them Italian, making sure they came up in the Church properly, even talking names, Anthony could feel himself panicking that much more.Lying to his family was one thing, but he actually cared about Jules. She deserved better, she deserved someone who could love her, who could give her everything she wanted. And he was very much just not that person, even if part of him wanted to be. It would be so much easier, wouldn't it, if he could just be what everyone expected him to be? But he had tried to fit himself into those boxes, and he wasn't sure how much longer he could do it without breaking.Part of him knew he needed to break off the engagement, to do the right thing, for once in his life, to set Jules free to find someone better than him, someone that could take care of her the way she wanted, but another part of him was scared to lose his friend. She'd been such a big part of his life for so long that not having her in it would feel wrong.But what he was doing to her now was what was wrong. He couldn't force her into a loveless marriage, not when she deserved better.Even though he'd come to that conclusion, he couldn't quite bring himself to end things. It wasn't until the wedding day itself that he knew he simply could not go through with it.The day had just dawned, clear and beautiful, the perfect day for a wedding, and he took her by the hand into the garden, where they were supposed to get married in mere hours. She hadn't wanted to go with him initially, leaning into the whole 'it's bad luck to see the bride on the wedding day,' but when she saw the expression on his face, she hadn't been able to refuse him.Anthony told her the truth. After everything, he owed her that. And for a moment, she thought he was playing some sort of prank on her, that he was just pulling some silly wedding stunt, that his brother or his friends had put him up to this, just to see how she would react. But when Anthony's expression stayed serious, when he told her again that he loved her, but not the way she wanted, that he couldn't marry her, couldn't give her what she wanted, what she needed, she finally started to understand that he wasn't joking.He knew that neither of their families would ever forgive him for what he'd just done; they'd been counting on their marriage to be beneficial to all of them. And when Giuliana started throwing things at him, her tears and her anger more than understandable to Anthony, he knew that he couldn't stay any longer. He'd forced himself to stay in a life that he hated, and he just couldn't do it anymore.

There's part of him that will forever hate himself for how he left, even though he knows that it was for the best, in the long run, that he really did do a good thing by breaking it off, by taking himself out of the equation, so Jules didn't have to, wouldn't be ruined by the scandal. She could find someone else, someone who would happily give her everything he couldn't.He ran up to his room, shoved a few things he could grab into a duffle bag, and scribbled a note to Molly, telling her how much he loved her and how sorry he was for everything, before he ran. Got into the car and just drove. It didn't matter where he was going, as long as it was away, away from the city, away from his family, away from his life.When the car died, he started walking, ending up at a seedy little hotel, where he found someone selling his particular type of poison. Everything was already falling apart, and he just needed to escape, one last time.....before he turned over a new leaf, figured out a new life.Anthony bought what the guy was selling, and checked into his hotel room. He prayed for the first time in a long time, promising that this would be the last time, that he would be good from now on, that he'd change. He'd go to Confession first thing in the morning, would figure out a way to start over, even if it meant starting out with nothing. He'd just....live alone, would ignore all of his sinful desires if he could just be good.He escaped into the blissful haze, promising that tomorrow would be different, would be better.............and he woke up in Hell.When he realized what had happened, that he'd overdosed, that he'd died, when he realized where he was, that Hell was real, it sent him into a spiral. He had a panic attack and ended up just sitting where he was, all of his arms (he had so many more of them now; what was happening??) wrapped around him as he rocked back and forth, his mind refusing to come to terms with this new reality.It took a while, but he was eventually able to calm down, at least enough to function, though he felt on the verge of descending into that same panic almost constantly for at least the first week, while he started to get his bearings, to get used to his new body and the fact that he was dead, he was in Hell, and would be......for eternity, it seemed.The fact that he now had to figure out how to survive, the way he'd been planning on before his death was not lost on him, but he supposed there was a bitter karma in it. He had hurt Jules, had ruined her wedding day....., and he had paid for it with his life.But he was already in hell...., which meant he couldn't exactly go to hell for being himself. He was finally able to embrace the fact that he was only interested in men, and during those first few months in hell, while he was still figuring everything else out, he had a few one-night stands, desperately wanting the experience, wanting to find out what it was like to give in to the desires he'd had for so long.He started using sex as a way to pay for what he needed, discovering that he was damn good at it, and could fake with the best of them if he needed to. It was a job, a way of making a living, and it seemed like there was a demand for it, since people kept paying him.And eventually, when he needed an escape again, he started back on the drugs. Couldn't exactly die more, could he? At least the drugs made him feel something.It wasn't long before he met Valentino, who whispered honeyed words to Anthony, promised that he'd give him the world, that he'd help get him on a stage again, that he wouldn't have to do sex work unless he wanted to.And Anthony believed him. He fell into Valentino's embrace, started performing again, taking the name Angel Dust, as an homage to one of the few times he'd been happy, and as one more little 'fuck you' to the family who had pushed him past his breaking point.He didn't get to do drag as much as he wanted, the way he thought he would when Val had told him he'd start performing again, but the fact that he was able to at all made him happier than he'd been in a long time. Angel did a few burlesque shows, too, which Val gradually turned into stripping..., and then he was encouraging him to take on a few "special" clients, that it would get them more money.But Val believed in him, encouraged him, and Angel did as he'd suggested, especially when Valentino kept praising him, kept buying him all the things that Angel had thought he'd never be able to get for himself. They had a connection, the way he hadn't had with anyone else before.And when Val suggested that he sign his soul over to him, Angel happily agreed, seeing it as the logical next step in their relationship.It was at that point that things started changing. Angel knew that Val had a temper, but it hadn't been directed at him. More and more, that changed, and he began to see Val for who he really was. But that was just because he was having a rough time, wasn't it? If Angel stayed with him, he'd change, he could change him, right???Because things weren't all bad with Val; he took care of Angel, made sure he had what he needed. And if he hurt him a little sometimes, that was just an accident. He hadn't really meant it. Angel had done something that had triggered it; he'd do better, and everything would be fine!But the first time Val really hit him, Angel tried to leave. Val apologized, said that it wouldn't happen again, that it really had been an accident, that he'd just been upset and had slipped.And Angel desperately wanted to believe him.....and he stayed.Eventually, Angel was working in porn full time, making a name for himself. He's tried to leave Val a few times over the years, but Val wined and dined him, telling him about how much he'd changed, love-bombing him into coming back, to staying at the tower and not just working at the studio.He reminded him of all the good times they'd had, promised that this time would be different, would be better..., and Angel came back. But each time he came back, it was harder for Val to convince him that it was worth it. There was too much there for his gifts and honeyed words to erase.And when Charlie and Vaggie invited Angel to the hotel...., he saw it as a chance to finally start putting some distance between himself and Valentino.There are still very complicated feelings there...., but if he can get his soul back..., maybe he can finally be free.

Taken from the wiki; will be rewritten and updated at a later point!Not much is known about Asmodeus' history other than he joined Lucifer as part of the Deadly Sins, embodying the sin of Lust and came to reside in the Lust Ring.At the start of Hell, Asmodeus had met and came to dislike Mammon.Asmodeus began designing and producing sex toys with Fizzarolli's likeness for Mammon, and at an unknown point before the start of the series became involved in the a secret relationship with his business partner, Fizzarolli. Asmodeus and Fizzarolli try to hide their relationship as he is the Sin of Lust who is supposed to be against a stable romantic relationships, but despite this their relationship became known as "Hell's worst kept secret."One night at Ozzie's an imp couple, Moxxie and Millie, came to celebrate their one year anniversary. When Moxxie started to sing a love song, Asmodeus and Fizzarolli interjected with their own song of lust, mocking the imps' relationship. During the song, Asmodeus proceeded to notice Stolas and praised him for giving up his family for lust and after the song he angrily told Moxxie and Millie to get out of his club.Asmodeus is sleeping in his bed with Fizzarolli on his chest before being abruptly awoken by Fizzarolli's air horn, which Asmodeus complains about. Getting out of bed Asmodeus listens to Fizzarolli about the tasks he must do during the day and the pair head off for breakfast that Asmodeus prepares.In the kitchen, when Fizzarolli mentions about still going to a contest rehearsal alone, Asmodeus appears hesitant to let him go alone, but allows him after Fizzarolli asks in a cute manner. Asmodeus and Fizzarolli begin flirting and cuddling until a succubus walks in causing the two to argue to her that they are not in love and that love is "stupid."Later, Asmodeus works in his factory where he oversees the production of numerous sexual products, and conducts a test on a new large vibrator that explodes in failure. In his office, Asmodeus is missing Fizzarolli until his alarm goes off to signal his meeting with Stolas.Asmodeus welcomes in Stolas and the two sit and discusses Stolas' feelings for Blitzo where the goetic prince requests an Asmodean Crystal to give to Blitzo, but Asmodeus sympathetically rejects Stolas' request on behalf of Fizzarolli who hates Blitzo. Just then, Asmodeus receives a message from Fizzarolli, but when he opens the message he is met with a video from Crimson who has kidnapped Fizzarolli, enraging Asmodeus. Crimson taunts Asmodeus and threatens that if he doesn't want to risk anything happening to Fizzarolli he must sign a contract of demands before the witching hour, and after the video ends Asmodeus becomes fiery and roars with rage.Stolas and Asmodeus meet with Crimson's lawyer for the contract. Despite Asmodeus wanting to sign it immediately, Stolas stops him and after reading the contracts contents informs that it would give Crimson all of his factory assets, and permission to use Fizzarolli's head as a wall decoration. After the lawyer brings out a larger contract Asmodeus becomes irritated.Later, Asmodeus sits angrily in silence as Stolas discusses the draft of a new contract and Asmodeus yells for the lawyer to hurry up reading, and he starts becoming fiery.

At the witching hour Asmodeus notices the time and goes to kill the lawyer, but just as he grabs him Fizzarolli walks in and Asmodeus rushes over, picks him up and canoodles. After Stolas leaves, Asmodeus and Fizzarolli attack the lawyer and Asmodeus leaves blood on the door as he leaves with Fizzarolli in his arms.Asmodeus walks the halls of his tower, and when the succubi workers see him being romantic with Fizzarolli, he threatens to "break" anyone who mention their secret relationship to anyone else. Asmodeus takes Fizzarolli up an elevator and into a small workshop where he replaces Fizzarolli's broken arm. Asmodeus tells Fizzarolli about how Stolas wanted an Asmodean Crystal for Blitzo and how he refused, but Fizzarolli tells him that he can give one, saying that Blitzo "earned it", then the two head off to "make a mess".At Asmodeus' tower, Asmodeus walks in while Fizzarolli scrambles to prepare for his tenth clown pageant, not understanding Fizzarolli's worries and tries to convince him that maybe it's time for to retire, but Fizzarolli explains that he has to do this for Mammon and for himself.Fizzarolli and Asmodeus arrive at Mammon Theatre via limousine with Blitzo accompanying them, and Asmodeus departs, leaving the pair of imps.In Fizzarolli's dressing room, Asmodeus appears, and despite Fizzarolli insisting that he is fine, tries talking him out of the pageant. When Fizzarolli pulls his hat off in an outburst about not being an adequate partner or mascot for any king of sin without what Mammon has done for him, Asmodeus explains to the vulnerable Fizzarolli that Mammon didn't do anything to make him a success in life, saying that he was always the inspiration Asmodeus fell in love with, and doesn't hesitate to tell him that he loves everything about him. After the heartfelt statement, Asmodeus and Fizzarolli share a hug.The pair share a kiss until they are interrupted by Burnie, who has returned with a dagger to kill Fizzarolli. However, Blitzo stops Burnie by killing him with a bullet to the head and congratulates Fizzarolli and Asmodeus on their relationship and hypocrisy.As Fizzarolli announces that he quits working for Mammon, he then appears on stage in his full demon form, ready to kill Fizzarolli, but Asmodeus protects him in his own full demon form, ready to battle his fellow Sin. Angered, Mammon threatens to expose Fizzarolli and Asmodeus' secret, but Asmodeus announces it to the audience instead, shocking Mammon. He leaves with a large explosion that Asmodeus covers Fizzarolli with his own body to keep him safe.Fizzarolli and Asmodeus cuddle in the limousine ride home and Asmodeus grins and looks at Fizzarolli when Blitzo asks the two "Who tops?".Asmodeus is mentioned by Blitzo when he meets up with Fizzarolli looking for sex toys in the Lust Ring.He was present at Blitzo's trial, where he attempted to vouch for him, nearly getting into another fight with Mammon in the process. When Satan decided to call a vote for whether to execute or continue hearing testimony, Asmodeus voted for testimony. During the trial, he received messages from Fizzarolli asking him to do something to get Blitzo out alive. He also later witnessed Stolas singing about being the mastermind and then losing his powers and status.

She is startled by Vaggie, who asks Charlie if she had heard from her mother recently. Charlie refuses and that Lilith has assumedly spent the past seven years too busy to answer her calls. Vaggie then reassures her that the hotel is the right solution for the betterment of Hell and informs Charlie that Alastor made something downstairs for the hotel.Alastor presents Charlie and Vaggie with the commercial he created for the hotel, much to their chagrin. While appreciating the time put into it, Charlie notes that the tone of the commercial was "off". When Angel Dust offers to act in a new commercial for the hotel, Charlie objects to the idea, not wanting to exploit his image. Charlie then receives a phone call from her father, which he asked if Charlie could go to a meeting with Heaven instead of himself, and she accepted.After excitedly telling Vaggie, seeing it as the perfect opportunity to pitch the hotel to Heaven, Charlie runs out of the hotel singing about it being a Happy Day in Hell. While she sings, she grabs onto a Helluva Post van that drives her past V Tower and into Cannibal Town where she gets off then heads toward the Heaven Embassy.Entering the embassy, Charlie is greeted by Adam, who messes with Charlie twice; offering a handshake even though he was a hologram, and offering food when the food is also a hologram. After patiently waiting for Adam to talk about his activities in Heaven, Charlie sweet talks Adam, citing him as a powerful leader and man with intellect, and brings up having a solution to their "biggest problem", the overpopulation crisis in Hell.Charlie summons her visual aids and begins singing her plans of the hotel and tries to explain her plan on rehabilitating Sinners, suggesting that redemption would eliminate the need for the Exorcists to journey to Hell. Adam interrupts, mocking the idea in a song and then states how the Extermination has been moved to take place six months early before shoving Charlie out the door.Arriving back at the hotel in sorrow, Charlie is greeted by Vaggie, who brings her over to the foyer. She tells Charlie that she, Alastor, and everyone else at the hotel helped to create a new commercial, which moved Charlie to tears. As the commercial begins, it is interrupted by the breaking news that the next extermination is coming six months early, angering Charlie.Due to the news that the next extermination is coming in six months, Charlie starts panicking. Vaggie ends up calming her down by stating that they'll be able to handle it.Later, Sir Pentious comes back to the hotel wanting to stay. After Angel Dust attempts to stop Charlie from letting Sir Pentious in the hotel, Charlie lets him in anyway saying that he deserves a second chance. While showing Sir Pentious around, Charlie is excited to have their first "real guest". Charlie reintroduces Sir Pentious to Alastor, and gets him to apologize for ruining Alastor's coat.In the parlor with Vaggie, Angel, and Sir Pentious, Charlie gets them to play a rhyming game where both Charlie and Sir Pentious take turns playing. A little while later, Charlie watch with everyone as Angel and Sir Pentious do a skit together that she had written. Afterwards, Charlie congratulates Sir Pentious, telling him that if he keeps going at his current rate, he'll get redeemed in no time.Charlie and Vaggie enter a room where Sir Pentious and Angel Dust are fighting. After Angel tells them that Sir Pentious was a spy for the Vees, Sir Pentious is abandoned and insulted by Vox, and asks them to kill him quick, but Charlie stops Angel and Vaggie from killing him. Charlie then sings to Sir Pentious about the path to forgiveness beginning with an apology. Afterwards, everyone goes back to bed.Charlie is celebrating Sir Pentious' first week at the hotel. Despite Vaggie's skepticism, Charlie claims that Sir Pentious hasn't used any weapons since he joined the hotel, but after Sir Pentious enters the room with a weapon Charlie wants to know why, with Sir Pentious responding that he's on edge since everyone has been too nice.Charlie notices the distrust between the guests and workers, and as a result, she decides to start Trusting 101 exercises, and suggests to Vaggie that she should lead the exercise. They start off with a trust falls, and afterwards at Angel's suggestion they go to a BDSM sex dungeon where demons try to seduce Charlie, making her uncomfortable.Vaggie leads Charlie and the others to a battlefield. As Vaggie throws Sir Pentious and Angel Dust into the battle, Charlie stops her before she throws Niffty, telling her there are other ways. After Vaggie tells her about how she feels she's failing her and asks to be alone for a while, Charlie and the others go home.Later, Charlie and Vaggie apologize for today and watch the guests and workers have a laugh together.During show and tell day, Angel Dust shows the hotel his best porno, much to Charlie's displeasure, but she tries to be nice about it. Soon, Angel is called into work and Charlie tries to get him to stay but he can't.Vaggie tells Charlie to use her power as princess against Angel's boss, but Charlie doesn't want to because it's "mean". Charlie goes to Angel's workplace where the latter immediately tries to get her to leave before Valentino sees her. Valentino notices Charlie and licks her arm while asking if she wants a job, but Charlie refuses and tries to talk about Angel Dust right after his work.During filming, Charlie talks to the boom mic holder, causing him to be distracted, and then she accidentally starts a fire. After Valentino brings Angel Dust to the dressing room and returns having hurt Angel, Charlie is enraged by this and yells at Valentino. However, Angel stops Charlie and angrily yells at her to leave, saying she made everything worse. Charlie then leaves, crying.When Angel returns to the Hotel and gets in a fight with Husk, a worried Charlie asks Husk to find Angel and make sure he okay, and blames herself for what happened earlier at the studio and decided the next lesson for the activity plans should be about learning boundaries.

Later when Husk returned with Angel, a tearful Charlie cries, apologizes and hugs him. Angel forgives her and is thankful she cares about him, then gives the tearful Charlie over to Vaggie to take care of.Running out of time to redeem a demon before the extermination, Charlie calls and invites her dad to Hotel, hoping he can get her meeting with Heaven. When Lucifer arrives, Charlie introduce him to the staff and clients of the hotel, and to her girlfriend, Vaggie. Charlie watches Alastor and Lucifer exchange insults and fight over her.Afterwards, Charlie, Vaggie, and Alastor take Lucifer on a tour of the hotel and Charlie tries to ask her dad for help but he tells her that the sinners are the worst. When the Hotel is attacked, Lucifer tells Charlie he was right, Alastor takes the shark demon to announce his comeback, Charlie thinks he is doing it for her.After the loan sharks are defeated, Lucifer and Charlie reconcile, and Lucifer agrees to get Charlie a meeting with Heaven. Charlie happily hugs Vaggie, saying she's bringing Vaggie with her, much to the latter's discomfort.Charlie is packing for her trip to Heaven, while Vaggie tries to back out of going. When Cherri Bomb arrives, Charlie pays her to take everyone out for fun, then a portal to Heaven opens and Charlie drags Vaggie through.Arriving in Heaven, Charlie is greeted by St. Peter, who becomes alarmed after finding out she is the daughter of Lucifer, but Sera and Emily arrive to clear up the trouble and the angels welcomes them to Heaven.Charlie and Vaggie get a room to stay in for their trip and while Vaggie stays in the room, Emily takes Charlie to a zoo and promises to hug a koala for her.Later in Heavens Court, Charlie reads off dictionary definitions in attempt to prove her case, and then becomes annoyed and frustrated at Adam's testimony against her that a sinner can be redeemed.During the trail, Charlie along with the Angels, watch Angel Dust during his night out. Adam and Lute immediately disregard him after he drinks, but Charlie begs Sera to continuing watching, and given another chance abruptly and triumphantly yells out "fuck yeah".After watching how Angel had done everything on Adam's checklist, Adam interjects that Angel didn't come to heaven. After Charlie realizes that none of them actually knows what gets a soul into Heaven, Sera tries to stop the questioning, claiming they know when a soul arrives. When Lute and Adam reprise that Hell is forever, Charlie and Emily rebut them by pointing out the hypocrisy of the extermination. During this, Vaggie tries to calm Charlie down but she continues to lash out to Sera until Lute and Adam expose that Vaggie was an exorcist, causing Charlie to fall to her knees in shock.After Sera calms the situation, Adam gleefully tells Charlie he's going to attack the Hotel first on extermination day and sends her and Vaggie back to hell.Charlie is crying in bed in her room feeling like a failure while Razzle and Dazzle try to comfort her.Alastor comes to her room and takes advantage of the emotionally vulnerable Charlie into making a deal for information on the Exorcists. Alastor then takes Charlie to Cannibal Town to meet Rosie and to try gain allies for the upcoming fight against Adam. In Cannibal Town, Charlie grabs a souvenir while at Rosie's Emporium and is introduced to Rosie.While Charlie tries to gain their support, a cannibal resident named Susan heckles her, causing Charlie to lose her temper. Rosie takes Charlie back into the emporium and asks about her troubles and if she believes Vaggie loves her. Rosie asks her about how she usually pitches her Hotel, and despite believing that singing never works, Rosie affirms that it will work here. Back outside, Charlie talks to the crowd again, this time rallying them through a song.Charlie rallies the cannibals back to the Hotel where Vaggie has also returned with weapons from Carmilla Carmine. Charlie forgives Vaggie and gives her a souvenir, then comments on Vaggie's new wings.The two enter the Hotel to find everyone else had stayed and been building up it defenses.Charlie and everyone else at the Hotel are training and putting up some last minute defenses to the Hotel. Charlie makes a speech saying win or lose she is proud of how far everyone has improved.While everyone enjoys their possible last day, General Pentious tells Charlie about his feelings for Cherri Bomb, and when he goes to confess Vaggie takes Charlie away. Sometime after, Vaggie finds Charlie alone crying at pictures of her friends, worried about tomorrow. Vaggie comforts her, and they reaffirm their love for each other, sharing a kiss.The next day when Adam and the exorcist army arrives, Charlie and everyone begins to fight them. After Sir Pentious sacrifices himself, Charlie is saddened and enraged, calling Razzle and Dazzle and in a fiery vortex turns into her full demon form, and riding on Razzle and Dazzle with Vaggie, charges at Adam. When Dazzle is attacked and falls with Vaggie into the hotel, Charlie tries to fly to Vaggie but is stopped by Adam who hits Charlie into the hotel sign where she then stabs Adam. In response, Adam beats Charlie and picks her up by the throat, but Lucifer arrives to rescue her.In the fight between Lucifer and Adam, Adam's holy beam cuts through the Hotel causing Charlie to fall. Lucifer flies down and catches her, and with their backs turned Adam goes in to attack but Charlie summoning newfound power blocks him. When Lucifer slaps Adam to the ground and begins to heavily punch him, Charlie stops him saying Adam has had enough. After Adam stands up and begins ranting, Charlie is surprised when he is stabbed by Niffty.After Adam's death and Lucifer's orders for Lute and the Exorcists to leave, Charlie looks anxiously through the Hotel's ruins and finds KeeKee trapped under the rubble and picks her up. She then receives support from her friends and father, and together, they rebuild a brand new hotel, and in their memory erects a painting of General Pentious with his Egg Boiz and a statue of Dazzle.

As the oldest of four kids, when he was alive, Husk grew up in Las Vegas, the family living ( and working ) at one of the prominent casinos of the day. He would sneak down to watch the performances whenever he could, and both the music and the magic fascinated him. Husk grew up around people from all different backgrounds, and quickly picked up on the languages being spoken, going so far as to study quite a few, eventually becoming fluent in them.He was in his late 20s when the US joined WWII. By that point, he already had a young daughter named Grace with a woman he was amicably separated from. When things started heating up overseas, he joined up with the 92nd Infantry Division, one of the only African American infantry divisions that was actively involved in combat in Europe during the war.By the time they returned to the US in late 1945, the woman he'd been seeing had left him, taking their daughter with him.He picked up the saxophone again, which he'd dabbled with before the war, quickly rising to the level of a professional. But what he really wanted to focus on was his magic act.While he wasn’t the best performer in Vegas, he didn’t do too badly, either. His name was pretty well-known, for a little while, and he was able to get by pretty well on his music and his magic. But he got into some trouble with drinking and gambling away his check, which got him in debt at one point. He was able to pay that off quickly by performing a few gigs and using the proceeds to win back what he’d lost.Husk decided to go traveling for a little while, to see more of the world. Which was how he ended up touring the country, sax in hand, with a jazz band. Of course, the tour didn’t last that long, and he decided to return to Vegas, where he had more opportunities to do both magic and music.

But something went wrong along the way. He started to get older, get sloppier with his tricks, and his sleight-of-hand at the tables got him into hot water more than once. At one point, he even stole from the partner with whom he was living to try to fix things, which didn’t end well.Eventually, when he was in his late 60s, the hard drinking and the life he’d led caught up to him, leading to his death.But then he woke up again, something he hadn’t expected at all, in Hell.The new form he found himself in was one he was not at all fond of. He was some sort of winged cat demon, with a magician-themed coloration.Despite a form that he didn’t like, Husk, as he was now called, figured out the hierarchy of Hell, that Sinners were restricted to the Pride Ring, and that, even with the ‘eternal punishment,’ he could make something of himself here. He started working his way up, eventually becoming an Overlord, power and status that he enjoyed, something he hadn’t had a chance to have in life.But his gambling got the better of him again, and he ended up selling his soul to Alastor. He’s been in the Radio Demon’s clutches for a while now, but with the Hotel and everything going as it has, he’s making the most of his current situation. It might not be as bad as he’d thought it was going to be, and the motley little crew that Charlie Morningstar had put together had become, begrudgingly, his friends.And he’ll do a hell of a lot for the people he cares about.

And they might have lived out their days, two 'confirmed bachelors' together, if it hadn't been for the war and Anthony's untimely demise.
When Ray died, the two of them crossed paths once more, this time in Hell. With neither of them in possession of their souls, they didn't recognize one another. But that red string of fate continues to connect them....and it seems that not even death will part them as they start to get close once more, not realizing the depth of their history.

Despite the fact that Stolas was one of numerous children of the Goetia King, Paimon, he was quite lonely as he grew up. When he was old enough, his father told him that he would be in charge of studying the skies of Earth, interpreting prophecies, etc. as part of his duties to Hell, and he was given a book, his grimoire, that would allow him access to the mortal realm. One of his other duties would be to produce a ‘precautionary heir’ for the Goetia family, and to that end, Stolas was betrothed from a young age to another avian demon named Stella.While he had been excited about learning what his duties were going to be, the news that he was already engaged upset the young boy to the point of crying. In an effort to distract Stolas from the news, Paimon had their butler take him to the circus, where his attention was quickly caught by one of the young imp performers about his own age, who he discovered was named Blitzo.Once the performance was finished, Stolas and Mister Butler, along with his father’s image in the magic mirror, were transported home, where Paimon told Stolas he had one more gift for him : Blitzo would be spending time with him. The young Stolas was delighted to have a new friend, and lost no time in showing Blitzo his books, excited to finally be able to share them with someone else.Blitzo suggested that they play a different game, called Treasure Hunt, and Stolas quickly joined in, having the most fun he’d ever had. It was the first time he’d had a friend, had someone to spend time with that wasn’t a member of the staff.Eventually, his new friend had to leave…. and Stolas wouldn’t see him again for quite some time. He instead threw himself into his studies, learning about his grimoire and Earth’s stars, along with quite a few other subjects. Stolas read as many books as he could get his hands on, frequently finding that they were the only way he could escape or find companionship.Stolas was sixteen when he started taking anti-depressants. He'd been struggling with depression before that, but that was when it got bad enough that he tried to hurt himself, which resulted in Paimon sending him to Sloth to see if they could do something about his "unbecoming attitude."When he came of age, he and Stella did marry, per Paimon’s arrangement, though neither of them felt anything for the other. Stolas knew that he might not ever love Stella, but he did his best to try to make the most of their marriage, hoping that maybe, after they spent more time together, they might grow to care for one another. But after about a year of marriage, it quickly became apparent that that would never happen.

They’d only been married for about a year when they had a daughter, whom they called Octavia. Despite the fact that Stolas didn’t love Stella, he absolutely adored Octavia, and he decided that he was going to do everything he could to make this work, to make them a little family, so that Octavia could have a normal life.But as the years passed, it became harder and harder to put in the effort, to try to pretend that everything was fine and that he and Stella were tolerant of one another, let alone that they loved each other. The depression he'd been dealing with almost his entire life worsened, even though he continued to take the “Happy Pills” that Belphegor prescribed for him, as he continued to attempt to put up with Stella, for Octavia’s sake.And life would continue that way for the foreseeable future. At least until Stella threw a “Still Not Divorced” party, when Stolas’ life changed yet again.He attended the party to at least attempt to keep up appearances, despite the fact that it was futile, considering how Stella loudly disparaged him in front of the entire party. Several security Hellhounds approached him with an imp between them, one that Stolas recognized as his friend, though he acted like he didn’t fully remember his name.Stolas told them that he would deal with the imp, and led him away from the party. Through a series of miscommunications ( largely due to the fact that Stolas wanted to believe that Blitz had snuck in to ravish him, ) Stolas ended up blindfolded and tied to his bed, something that very much excited him. The idea that his first friend had come back, had actually wanted him in a way he hadn’t ever felt wanted before made him realize how much he was missing in his life.He and Blitz had a night of passion, and even though Blitz quickly ran out the next morning, Stolas’ feelings for him had been rekindled. When he discovered that Blitz had stolen his grimoire in order to allow his employees to go to the human realm for their business, instead of taking his book back, the two of them agreed that, as long as Blitz gave it back to him on the night of the full moon and slept with him the same night, Blitz could continue using it the rest of the time.But the more time he spent with Blitz, the more Stolas began to realize that he genuinely cared for the imp, that he wanted more out of their relationship. And he’s going to have to find a way to show him that, in a way that Blitz will believe.

When Stolas was kidnapped by Striker, Blitz did show up to rescue him. He saved him from his would-be assassin, and rushed him to the hospital in Sloth. Shortly after Octavia was born, Stolas decided that he did not want his child to have to go through what he had, growing up as part of the Goetia family. He took Octavia with him and ran away, carefully making his way to Greed, to see if he could find his first ever friend. He'd said he'd hire him, after all, and if Blitzo remembered him, then maybe Stolas could see about making that a reality, so he could provide for Octavia, without having to rely on his family.And when he found the circus, he ended up sticking around, using his growing powers of prophecy and observation to read fortunes for the attendees, raising his daughter as well as he can, while trying to fit in in this newfound community.

Like most other Goetia, Vassago was raised to be socially aware and image-conscious. He was one of several siblings, which meant that his parents weren't as focused on finding him a match as they might have been otherwise, and he was allowed some leeway to do the things he wanted.This little bit of freedom, coupled with how musical Hell's royal family is, led to a lifelong interest in music. Vassago loves all different kinds of music, and if he's familiar with a tune, he frequently hums or sings along.He was expected to fulfill his royal duties, and Vassago took that expectation seriously. The young parrot started honing his magic at a young age, asking his parents and siblings to hide various objects around the house so he could locate them.It got easier with time, and he can almost always be counted upon to find objects if they've been lost.

As he got older, his powers of both prophecy and psychometry grew stronger, allowing him to take his place among the other Goetia.He also developed an interest in the law and justice, reading as many books on the subject as he could get his hands on.This allowed him to develop the necessary skills and knowledge to practice law, though he does not use that ability as much as he would like.[Will likely be added to! As the oldest of five siblings, Vortex always planned to help out his parents as he got older. He helped out around the house as much as he could, especially after school, when their parents were at work.While he was still in school, he got a job as a bouncer on the weekends. The boss knew he wasn't exactly old enough, but he was big. Which meant they chose to ignore his age, at least until it got them into trouble.Which unfortunately happened when a couple of drunk patrons got into a knife fight. Tex tried to intervene, but at that point, he was still so inexperienced when it came to fighting that he got the business end of one of their knives, injuring his left eye in the process.It was very lucky he didn't lose the eye completely, but it did leave him blind on that side. He also lost his job; his boss couldn't keep him on after an incident like that.

After his injuries healed, Tex took up boxing, both as a way to make sure he was better able to defend himself, if anything like that happened again, and as a way to help make up for his blind spot. If he can fight half-blind, then maybe he could use what happened to his advantage.Eventually, he got a job at another bar, which is where he ended up meeting a certain Verosika Mayday. He broke up a fight, and she essentially poached him, offering him a job as her bodyguard instead.Tex figured it could be a good gig, and he said yes (and he makes sure to send his siblings merch from each gig they do). He might say he's not paid enough to care about what happens, but he respects Verosika, and he makes sure to do his job to the best of his ability.

As the older of two siblings, Vincent Hale was expected to set an example. He was supposed to be the quintessential, All-American boy, and to make his parents proud.When he was in school, he fully intended to pursue a career that would give him power and influence: maybe a doctor or a lawyer. But when his school put on a performance of The Pirates of Penzance, he discovered the power his voice could have.Radio plays were all the rage, at that point, and he got his start on the radio. Not only with radio plays, but through reading the news and promoting his company, one he started on a whim to make himself more legitimate.He started to gather something of a following, through just the power of his voice. And when television started to become both more popular and more accessible, he saw an opportunity to expand his reach.Vincent made the switch to television, where he quickly discovered he could use his voice and his good looks to gather even more followers. They sent him money and gifts, and he promised them whatever they needed to hear in return.As he started to become more well-known, especially after making the switch to television, his rivals and challengers also grew. He was able to ignore at least a few of them, but there was one in particular that called his whole operation into question.In order to placate his own followers, and in the hopes that he'd be able to tempt more of them over to his side, Vincent agreed to a televised debate. It was a good way to reach as many people as possible, and it would hopefully quell some of the rumors that had started as a result of this rivalry.

Of course, his opponent had some good points, and Vincent couldn't allow him to actually challenge him; his followers might start to see through the act. When it came time for the debate, he attempted to sabotage the microphone his rival was going to be using, only for it to backfire and electrocute him instead.But after he died, he opened his eyes once more, in possession of what appeared to be almost Lichtenberg scars along the left side of his chest, in Hell. He quickly figured out that he could pick right back up where he left off, building new followers, gathering a different sort of power.Building on his background in television and now called Vox, he founded VoxTech Enterprises and quickly began rising through the ranks of hell's denizens.At some point after he became an Overlord, Vox met Valentino, a sinner on the rise. He made a note to keep an eye on him, the way he did most other sinners who had the potential to become Overlords.Eventually, after meeting Velvette, who had a very quick rise from her initial appearance in Hell, the three of them formed the overlord group known as the Vees.Vox had some run-ins with the so-called Radio Demon, who eventually became something of an archrival for the media overlord.Now, the Vees are keeping an eye on Charlie Morningstar's Hazbin Hotel while planning their own takeover of the rest of the Pride ring. And maybe from there, all of Hell.

Born to two demons within the Pride Ring, Neil as he was then known didn’t know either of his parents for very long. They split up not long after his birth and just kind of left him behind. Which meant that he had to figure out how to survive on his own. In order to do that, he fell in with some other young hellborn demons that were in similar situations to his own, forming their own little band of misfits, almost Oliver Twist-style.He learned how to pick pockets, how to charm his way out of trouble, and how to manipulate people, things that would eventually lead him to a future he never anticipated.One of the only times he was caught picking a pocket was during a speech given by another demon named Zeal. Normally, when there were gatherings or shows, that made it easy to wander through the crowd, stealing a few things as he went while people were distracted. But it turned out that he was the one who was distracted this time.

He managed to talk his way out of trouble with his intended victim, so that he could quickly approach Zeal. Instead of introducing himself with the name that the parents he hadn’t known had given him, he told Zeal his name was Ardor, because he knew right then and there that he would do anything for the other man.Which was how he became one of Zeal’s first followers, and his first partner. Ardor would go so far as to say he’s the most loyal out of all of the sinners and hellborn Zeal’s recruited to his side. He doesn’t care what flavour of cult they’re promoting, as long as he can stay by Zeal’s side and continue to serve him. Having Ardor present, to show just how effective Zeal’s leadership is has helped convince more than a few souls that had been on the fence to join, which just puts Zeal one step closer to being an Overlord.And Ardor will be there, every step of the way.

Everyone knows the story of Cain and Abel: firstborn son grows jealous of his younger brother and kills him out of spite. But is that what really happened? Or just the version you’ve heard?Cain was the firstborn human, first son to Adam and Eve. He was still young when his brother Abel was born, and he doesn’t really remember life before there were two of them. And they were practically inseparable, brothers and best friends. They explored the world together, getting to know the place that had been set aside for them, after the Garden. While neither of them had been in the Garden, they had heard stories from their parents.As they grew, Cain showed an interest in farming. He worked the land, taking care of his crops, doing everything he could to recreate that mythical place where his parents had been so happy, wanting to please them, and to please the Almighty. After all, that’s why they were placed on the earth, wasn’t it? Cain had questions about that, but he kept them to himself, focusing instead on his harvest.And when the Almighty demanded a sacrifice, Cain gathered up his best crops, making sure that they were fit for such an honor. He gladly offered up his best, hoping that it would be enough.But he had started to notice just how much everyone and everything seemed to favor his brother. He had hoped that their judgement before the Almighty might be fairer, but when Cain’s sacrifice was rejected, was scorned and mocked in favor of Abel’s, the older brother felt something within him snap, felt it tear free in his chest.In his anger, he made the worst mistake in his life: he picked up a rock and struck his younger brother, taking out his feelings on Abel. Because he couldn’t be angry with God, could he? That was considered a SIN, and sin was evil, would send him to HELL, the way that the angel his parents had known before had been cast down, along with the first woman. And that would be the worst thing, wouldn’t it? That was what he’d been taught.But when Abel didn’t get up after he’d struck him, Cain knew that he had done wrong, knew that he would never be able to fix what had happened. Because Abel wasn’t getting up, was bleeding, the way the animals he had sacrificed did. That wasn’t right; he shouldn’t be bleeding! That was reserved for animals! People couldn’t die, could they?He tried to stem the bleeding, to patch up his brother’s injuries, so that he’d wake up, but nothing he tried worked. Abel was gone, and it was all his fault.In those days, the Almighty still walked among the first humans. And when God asked Cain what he had done, he panicked, lying to God about what had happened to his brother. How could he confess that he had been the one to hurt Abel when he still didn’t fully understand what had happened, when he was the reason his beloved brother was no longer here?

It was the lie almost as much as the world’s first murder that condemned Cain. The Lord laid a curse on him.“You are under a curse and driven from the ground. When you work the land, it will no longer yield its crops for you. You will be a restless wanderer on the earth,” came the booming voice of the Almighty. “And anyone who kills Cain will suffer vengeance seven times over.” And in order to ensure that Cain would have to withstand his punishment for years to come, the Lord placed a mark on Cain, so that all who came across him would know that, if they killed him, they would suffer for releasing him from his sentence.Cain fled, leaving behind his parents, the only life he’d ever known, to face life on his own. No longer could he be a farmer; he would have to find something else, some other way to survive.And survive he did, for many long, agonizing years. He married and fathered children, but they all died long before he did, condemned to wander the Earth as he was. Because any time he considered that he might settle down, might try to eke out some kind of life, first by himself, and then with a family, disaster would find him. And anything he had for himself would be taken from him, while he himself remained, untouched, reminded once more of everything he had done to receive such a harsh punishment.While he endured this for many years, eventually, he decided that he had had enough. Cain threw himself into as many dangerous situations as he could, baiting people to try to kill him, but no one did, scared away from committing such an act by the mark that had been placed upon him.Which was why, in the end, Cain was the one to take matters into his own hands. If anyone who killed Cain would suffer vengeance seven times over, then he would take on that responsibility himself. He was already cursed, already facing punishment; how could anything be worse than that?He’d known that, throughout his long life, if he ever died, he wouldn’t be reunited with his family, would never get a chance to tell Abel he was sorry, that he hadn’t known what would happen, that he’d taken his anger out on the wrong person. So what was the point in living anymore if all he was going to do was cause the world more trouble? Better to get things over with, to face whatever “eternal” punishment he was going to be saddled with, to get it started. Because the sooner it started, the sooner it would end.Cain hadn’t been sure what to expect, knowing that he would surely face his sentence after death. But waking up in Hell, completely changed, to a world that was different than the one he’d known, but to have…..less of a sense of foreboding hanging over him had certainly not been what he thought would happen. It almost felt like the Almighty had forgotten about him; he certainly didn’t feel like he was facing seven times the vengeance that had been promised to whoever killed Cain. But he’ll deal with that when it happens, if it ever does.

In life, they were an actor, a spy, a nurse, a teacher; anything they needed to be in order to get by. They were a performer in practically every way, and while that’s how they survived, it’s also what got them killed in the end.The person who would one day come to be known as Echo was born the second child to a middle-class Catholic family in New York City at the height of the Roaring 20s. Their family was fine, for the most part, but the stock market crash of 1929 hit them hard. They had to move out of their apartment into an area of the city that was much poorer. Both Ezekiel and Echo started working, finding what jobs they could even as children to help them put any sort of food on the table.Echo tried to get different jobs presenting differently, finding that some days, it was easier if they showed up dressed in their brother’s clothes, but other days, they could find more work by wearing the dresses they had to wear at home. But that gave them their first taste of presenting differently, something that they leaned into more as they grew, perfecting a more masculine look, as well as one that was more feminine, even though neither of them really felt at home to them.By the time the world was getting back to its feet, Echo was a teenager and had started to find that they were one hell of a performer. And New York was the perfect place for them to lean into that skill, especially after their parents threw them out when they found out about their ‘unnatural lifestyle.’Now that they were on their own, they had to figure out how to survive, and they picked up quite a few different skills over the years.It was during one of their stints as a server in an upscale restaurant that they overheard some potentially very valuable information, which they then used their skills to peddle to interested parties. And that was when they figured out they could put their skills as a performer to good use, and to start gathering information for the highest bidder.

It was hard work, but they built up a network of contacts, knowing just who they needed to go to for specific tidbits of information, who would be willing to buy such things. And when the war happened, their performance cover came in quite handy. They were able to entertain and listen at the same time, and their information made its way to the government.By the time the war ended, they were sitting pretty, in a way they never thought they would have been, considering where they started.But they’d also attracted the wrong sort of attention, and they were in the middle of a job when a rival in the espionage business gunned them down, deliberately taking them out of the picture.Echo thought that would be it, but when they manifested in Hell, all the teachings of their Catholic upbringing came back to them. They were here to be punished, for not following the tenants of the Church, for refusing to live confined to the body they were born into, for any number of sins they’d committed while they were alive.They considered giving up, at that point; how could anyone get out of eternal punishment, after all? but it didn’t take them long to learn that life in Hell was just another form of living, and even if it was supposed to be punishment….., why not make the most of it?And after they discovered that they were able to shift the form of their body, that they could finally actually live their life as whatever gender they felt like, they knew they could get used to this new place they found themself in.Which is what they’re doing now: they’re an actor/performer on paper, but their real job is gathering information.

Because we don’t currently know if sinners cannot go to the other rings, or if they’re just not legally allowed, Echo is capable of going to the other rings of Hell by using their shapeshifting powers, which keeps them from being detected as a sinner. Of course, Sins and other powerful denizens of Hell would likely be able to tell, but to other sinners and most hellborn, they’ll blend right in where they need to.

Born in New York, Johnny knew he was gonna be a musician practically from the first moment he can remember. He was going to travel the world, playing music, and that was all there was to it. While other kids were running around playing, he was inside practicing whichever instrument struck his fancy, figuring it would be better if he could play more than one.When he was just five years old, Johnny’s family decided to move back to New Orleans. His mother’s parents hadn’t been doing well, and they were going to move in with them, so she could help take care of them while Johnny’s father worked in the city with a local law firm.He and his older brother took music lessons and ran rampant around the city, learning about all the most haunted places, and soon, it was like they’d always lived there, though they both had slight traces of a New York accent.As time went on, Johnny decided it was high time for him to get a job. And since he’d been working on honing his musical skills for most of his life, it didn’t take him long to land a gig at a pretty prominent establishment. Because he was capable of playing a variety of instruments, he would frequently fill in for other musicians, eventually becoming a staple of the band.
